three mistakes you made. A) commenting on how I was raised, seeing as I’m not the Teen Mom reject right now, you may want to quit before you embarrass yourself any further. B) Assuming that I give a damn how you got yourself pregnant. That would mean I’d have to care about you and trust me I have three fucks to give and none of them are going in your direction. Ryan smiled, “Right.. Stupid question.” He had figured that Avery would have at some point met the demon child, otherwise known as Katy as he used to spend every moment with her. Used to. “Of course she did, she can’t keep her nose out of other’s business. Well, I mean.. I did tell her but, she didn’t have to tell other people. My mother or not.” He huffed, realising how irrelevant his argument was. He only smiled when Avery tried to tell him it was only a quick reaction, “It wasn’t. If it was quick, my mother would have talked to me when I visited her in the hospital. She only talked to Katy, Rue and Eve and then ordered Katy to kick me out!” It was one of those days Ryan hated his family and couldn’t wait to get away from them, but, the fact it was only legal for his to leave home last year was making him struggle to stay away. “That’s only if something doesn’t happen to us or Eve doesn’t hate me too.” As soon as Ryan had uttered those words, he regretted them. But he didn’t want to take them back. What if Avery and Ryan broke-up again? What if they gave the kid away, like Ryan wanted?

Ryan grinned, “I would have never guessed!” he teased and smiled lightly at the tickling sensation she made with her fingers on his. He stepped with her, laughing inside at her quiet, almost whining tone that reminded him of a small child begging their mother in a candy store. “Well.. I suppose it’s not that big.” Ryan shrugged, now unsure if it was even worth the trip out here, but he was also keen to thinking of baby names now that they knew the it was a boy. Even though the best Ryan could come up with was Bob.
“Well.. You know my twin, Katy, right?” Ryan drew a deep breath and continued, “When I was home, I told her about my situation, hoping she could help me… But.. She got mad and we started fighting. Then she told our parents..” He sighed and took in another round of cold air, “Then my Mother said that I was only nineteen. Then she kicked me out of home.” He looked to the floor and then back up at Avery, “It’s okay. I live here now, so, I’m fine. I can just go and spend my Summer with Eve and you and our kid.” He shrugged it off and continued to walk, listening to the squeaks of the wet grass under them as the walked.

“Well she certainly isn’t my beautiful girlfriend.” Ryan smiled as he turned to pull her in to hug with her, his arms wrapped firmly around her neck and his nose buried in her sweet-smelling hair. When he finally let Avery go, he looked into her eyes, wanting to kiss her badly, but she would only push him away until he told her why he had called her out at such a weird time.

Ryan often did suppress his feelings, as he didn’t want to look like he was as troubled as he was deep-down. It was a bad habit that he couldn’t simply break overnight. “Maybe I just wanted to talk to you face-to-face instead of our phone calls?” He lied. This was one of the many reasons why he wanted to see her, but not the main one, “Why are you so sudden in your questions.” He wondered, lacing his fingers between Avery’s as she did to him. “Walk with me.” Ryan said as he began to slowly pace through the wet grass to reach the pathway.

The mud lifted from the bottom of the lake and it became easier to stir, however the softening twig was about to snap, but it was a way to kill time, but Ryan was luckily a very patient person.

A pair of hands that covered Ryan’s eyes were soft and it caused him to stop moving the stick and grin widely, “Hmm… Tender hands and a soft voice. I have no clue.” He joked placing his fingers on hers, trying to pry them off his face to cuddle her.

It was twilight on the 28th of April and Ryan felt suddenly tired and had an urge to sleep, but he felt like he needed to see Avery as the only time he had seen her since he got back was when they went to the doctor to find out more about their baby. It was a boy! A smile appeared on Ryan’s face just as he thought about having a son. The timing of this whole ordeal was utterly horrible, but he had promised to stay, just for Avery.
The setting sun looked pretty in the sky as he walked towards the lake area, sitting on the edge of the grass just before the water as they said that was where they were going to meet. To pass time, he picked up a stick and began to stir it around in the water, waiting for Avery to show.
